  3. Will WorldClock work properly in my Macintosh?
  4.  
  5. WorldClock fits the typical description of a Desk Accessory - a program that 
  6. resides in the Ô£ø menu, waiting to be popped onto the screen to obtain some 
  7. quick information, then put away again.  As a Desk Accessory, WorldClock 
  8. has no designated memory area of its own in which to operate, as does an 
  9. application program.  This can cause problems when the amount of available 
  10. memory is marginal.

  12. WorldClock Lite is the best indicator that the full version of WorldClock 
  13. will operate properly in your Macintosh if you order it.  If WorldClock Lite 
  14. runs OK, then WorldClock should run OK, too.

  16. Recommended Configuration:

  18. ‚Ä¢ Macintosh II or Macintosh LC or Macintosh SE/30 or later including:
  19.               Performa, Classic II, Powerbook other than PB100, Color Classic, Centris, Quadra,
  20.               PowerBook Duo, or Power Macintosh with 68020, 68030, 68040 or PowerPC processor, 
  21.                     with color QuickDraw in ROM.
  22. ‚Ä¢ 4.0 MB RAM or more.
  23. ‚Ä¢ Floating Point Unit desirable for additional speed, but not required.
  24. ‚Ä¢ System 7.0.1, 7.1, 7.5 or later.  Will not operate with System 6.x.
  25. ‚Ä¢ Color or Grayscale Monitor Preferred (Monochrome Acceptable).
  26. ‚Ä¢ Monitor Size: The smaller display of WorldClock and WorldClock Lite
  27.     will display on any Macintosh monitor.  The larger display (available only
  28.     in the full WorldClock) requires a standard 13" or 14" monitor with 
  29.     640 x 480 pixel resolution.  For PowerBooks with 640 x 400 liquid crystal
  30.     displays, the full version of WorldClock automatically adjusts its size to fit.

  32. Recommended Control Panel Settings:

  34.   Color Monitor: Thousands or Millions of Colors to display full twilight shading 
  35.     at the boundary between daylight and darkness, otherwise 256 colors.
  36.   Grayscale Monitor: Display is optimized for 16 shades of gray.

  38. WorldClock and WorldClock Lite are NOT COMPATIBLE with:

  40.   Original Macintosh 128, Macintosh 512, Macintosh 512 KE,  Macintosh Plus,
  41.   Macintosh SE, Macintosh Classic, Macintosh Portable, Macintosh Powerbook 100

  43.   System 6.0 or earlier.
